Job Summary
Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences. Load and unload equipment, secure it properly, and verify its condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up equipment at sites, ensuring proper functioning while providing basic usage instructions to clients. Plan and optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries, coordinate with dispatch for schedules, and maintain accurate records including signatures and documentation. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while providing excellent customer service. Full-time, salary-based position (8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday) with vehicle allowance and bonus opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment is a plus
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles
- Basic computer knowledge
