Job Summary
Drive a delivery vehicle to transport durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences in the [LOCATION] area. Load and unload equipment, secure it properly, and install it at sites while ensuring correct placement and providing basic usage instructions to clients. Coordinate with the dispatch team for schedules, verify equipment condition upon delivery and return, and maintain accurate records including signatures and delivery times. Plan and optimize routes for efficient service while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally and fostering a cooperative work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles
- Basic computer knowledge
