Job Summary
Conduct safe and efficient deliveries of durable medical equipment to healthcare facilities and patient residences within the designated service area. Load, unload, and secure equipment while verifying condition upon delivery and return. Install and set up devices at homes and facilities, providing basic usage instructions and addressing client inquiries. Coordinate with dispatch for schedules, optimize routes, and maintain accurate delivery records including signatures and documentation. Adhere to all traffic laws and perform basic vehicle maintenance checks. Operate a delivery vehicle daily between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, requiring reliable transportation and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of medical equipment
- Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles
- Basic computer knowledge
