Delivery Material Handler

Job Summary
The Delivery Material Handler is responsible for safely loading and securing materials on trucks, verifying accuracy of materials, assisting the driver with job site navigation, and using various equipment to unload materials. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work in different weather conditions, lift heavy materials, and climb ladders. Experience with forklifts and previous material handling is preferred. The position requires maintaining a clean work area and adhering to safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) when dealing with vendors, management, and team members
- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions
- Ability to bend, reach, lift and climb
- Must have the ability to lift up to 100 pounds of material continually
- Must be able to climb a 40 foot ladder to deliver materials on a pitch roof
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Must be able to pass a company required drug test
- Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience driving a forklift
- Previous material handling experience
