Job Summary
Delivery Material Handlers at Gulfeagle Supply are responsible for loading and securing building materials for delivery, ensuring proper delivery of products to job sites using forklifts, cranes, and by hand. This hands-on role involves physical labor, requires candidates to lift heavy materials, and adhere to safety policies. Candidates will receive training to aid in career development.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to continually lift up to 100 pounds of material for extended periods of time.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions.
- Ability to bend, reach, lift, and climb.
- Ability to work on multi-story buildings at various heights and pitch.
- Ability to handle all functions of the job in a safe manner and as all safety policies mandate.
- All employees must pass pre-employment drug test and are subject to random substance abuse screening under company policy.
Desired Qualifications
- General knowledge of roofing material, construction and/or distribution.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English or Spanish as required by the branch location.
Additional Requirements
