Job Summary
Take ownership of day-to-day delivery of multiple power infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring outcomes meet time, cost, and quality expectations. Review project programs, contracts, budgets, and forecasts regularly to track performance, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Lead project teams by setting expectations, supporting project managers, and resolving complex issues while maintaining focus on safety, quality, and project outcomes. Monitor expenditure, forecast costs to completion, and control contractual risks and opportunities. Build team capability through performance reviews, training, and workforce planning. Engage stakeholders professionally to align teams with program objectives and support business growth. Requires tertiary qualification in engineering or construction management with minimum 10 years of experience in electrical utilities infrastructure. Based in New South Wales.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or Equivalent
- Minimum 10 years previous experience in a similar role
- Experience on construction projects in electrical utilities infrastructure
- Solid understanding of Australian electrical standards, electrical systems, installations and construction methods
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with strong computer literacy
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions
