Job Summary
Deliver mobility and medical equipment to residential and commercial locations, then assemble and install items such as lift chairs, wheelchairs, scooters, ramps, and stair lifts according to manufacturer standards. Verify proper functionality and safety of all equipment, provide basic operational instruction to customers, and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues encountered during service. Load, transport, and unload equipment using safe handling practices while maintaining cleanliness of tools, vehicles, and work areas. Support basic coordination of delivery schedules and represent the company professionally in the field. Valid driver's license with a clean record required; ability to lift 50–100 lbs and work in varying weather conditions essential. Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues
- Strong time management and dependability in a field-based work environment
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned service tasks
- Demonstrated hands-on mechanical or technical experience (professional or personal)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment typically ranging from 50–100 lbs, with assistance as needed
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and movement during installation activities
- Exposure to indoor and outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions
- Regular use of hand tools, power tools, and transportation equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with mobility or medical equipment
- Basic electrical or carpentry knowledge
- Experience interacting directly with customers in service-based roles
- 1–3 years of delivery, installation, construction, or assembly experience
