Job Summary
Delivery Helper loads, locates job sites, backs, prepares and restores the job site, and maintains the truck and equipment. Performs pre-trip inspections of equipment and paperwork to ensure order accuracy; safely unloads and delivers to the assigned area; secures cargo; navigates routes to job site. Requires ability to read/write, stamina for lifting up to 75 lbs, and the ability to work independently or on a team while maintaining safety and compliance with OSHA/DOT guidelines. Emphasizes professional communication, initiative, and maintaining relationships across teams; includes potential for growth and advancement within a national building materials distributor network.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
- Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and on a team.
- Ability to self-manage, show initiative, and drive results.
