Job Summary
Delivery Helper responsible for loading, locating job sites, backing, preparing and restoring the job site, and maintaining the truck and equipment. Performs pre-trip inspections, ensures order accuracy, safely unloads and delivers to the customer, secures materials on the truck, and navigates routes to job sites. Requires reading/writing skills, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and ability to work independently or as part of a team while upholding OSHA and DOT safety guidelines. Emphasizes professional communication with coworkers and customers, a commitment to safety, reliability, and a growth-oriented, inclusive workplace culture. Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately
- Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs.
- Ability to self-manage, show initiative, and drive results
- Ability to work independently and on a team; ability to lead, execute and/or delegate as needed
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Excellent communication with coworkers and customers
- Ability to navigate routes to job sites
- Pre-trip inspections of equipment and paperwork to ensure accuracy of orders
- Compliance with OSHA and DOT safety guidelines
