Job Summary
Operate all equipment, receive and process telephone orders, and clean equipment and facility daily. Deliver pizzas and flyers within a designated area using a valid, insured vehicle, navigating adverse terrain including multi-story buildings and varying weather. Make correct monetary change, perform repetitive tasks, and work under stress while meeting strict quality control standards. This locally owned store offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to advance to management or franchise ownership.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
- Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks
- Depth perception
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
- Far vision and night vision for driving
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgements and decisions
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to push a stack of trays on a dolly weighing up to 7.5 pounds
- Must be able to climb five or more flights of stairs
- Must be able to stoop and bend forward at the waist
- Must be able to reach above 72 inches
- Must be able to talk and hear on telephone
- Must have near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks
- Must have depth perception
- Must have the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
- Must have far vision and night vision for driving
