Job Summary
Deliver pizzas and beverages to customers within a designated area, navigating multi-story buildings and adverse terrain while carrying product. Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, and prepare product. Receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility daily. Manage flyers and door hangers. You must be 18 with a valid driver's license and safe driving record, and have access to an insured vehicle. This role involves standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in temperatures ranging from 36 to 90 degrees.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks
- Depth perception
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
- The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions
- Standing position for most tasks
- Walking for short distances for short durations
- Sitting for paperwork completion
- Ability to lift bulk product deliveries using a hand truck
- Ability to lift cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift cases from floor and stack onto shelves up to 72" high
- Ability to carry large cans weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces
- Ability to carry pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds
- Ability to carry trays of pizza dough weighing approximately 12 pounds per tray
- Ability to push trays which are placed on dollies requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force
- Ability to pull trays
- Ability to navigate stairs or climb a ladder
- Forward bending at the waist
- Ability to crouch/squat occasionally
- Ability to reach above 72" occasionally
- Ability to reach down to perform tasks such as scooping cornmeal or washing dishes
- Eye-hand coordination
- Continuous use of hands
- Ability to shape pizza dough using forearms and wrists
- Ability to manipulate a pizza peel
- Ability to pinch frequently and/or forcefully
- Ability to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter, pizza boxes, and pizza peel

- Far vision and night vision for driving
- Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area
- Travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location
- Navigation of five or more flights of stairs during delivery
