Job Summary
Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and coolers, and prepare product following established standards. Receive and process telephone and computer orders, navigate addresses within the designated delivery area using map skills, and take inventory while processing associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility daily, comply with safety requirements, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining professionalism. Must possess a valid driver's license with two years of driving experience, accurate math skills, and ability to make correct monetary change. Work in varying weather conditions, temperatures ranging from 36 to 90 degrees, and environments with food odors, cornmeal dust, and noise.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- valid driver's license
- two years of experience driving
- safe driving record meeting company standard
- own personal vehicle
- navigational skills to read a map
- locate addresses within designated delivery area
- navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- ability to make correct monetary change
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Motor coordination between eyes, hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Maintain a high level of professionalism
- Be timely and reliable
- Be a self-starter
- Required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects of up to 50 lbs
- May be required to climb flights of stairs during delivery
