Job Summary
Deliver pizzas and beverages within a designated delivery area using an insured vehicle with a valid driver's license. Navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and varying weather conditions while carrying product up to 50 pounds. Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and walk-in cooler, and prepare product for customers. Receive and process telephone orders, enter orders using a computer or touch screen, and make correct monetary change. Clean equipment and facility daily, take inventory, complete associated paperwork, and deliver flyers and door hangers. Perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, pushing, and climbing stairs while maintaining strict quality control standards.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area and must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Far vision and night vision for driving
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgements and decisions
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
- Ability to lift and stack cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions of up to 3' x 1.5'
- Ability to carry trays of pizza dough weighing approximately 12 pounds per tray
- Ability to carry pizzas and beverages while performing walking and climbing duties
- Ability to climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance
- Ability to navigate five or more flights of stairs
- Ability to perform forward bending at the waist at the pizza assembly station
- Ability to crouch/squat to stock shelves and to clean low areas
- Ability to reach above 72" occasionally to turn on/off oven controls, change prices on sign, and lift and lower objects to and from shelves
- Ability to reach down to perform such tasks as scooping cornmeal from a plastic barrel, or washing dishes
- Ability to push a stack of trays on a dolly requiring a force of up to 7.5 pounds

- Ability to walk between the store and delivery vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location
