Job Summary
Deliver pizzas and beverages within a designated area, navigating multi-story buildings and adverse terrain. Operate vehicles, unload bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds, and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and walk-in coolers. Prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, and make monetary change. Clean equipment and facilities daily while managing inventory and paperwork. Maintain safe driving standards with a valid license and insured vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area and must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Far vision and night vision for driving
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgements and decisions
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance
- Must be able to navigate five or more flights of stairs
- Ability to push a stack of trays on a dolly weighing up to 7.5 pounds
- Ability to pull trays
- Ability to stoop and bend forward at the waist
- Ability to reach above 72 inches
- Ability to reach down to perform tasks such as scooping cornmeal or washing dishes
- Ability to operate all equipment
- Ability to stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler
- Ability to prepare product
- Ability to receive and process telephone orders
- Ability to take inventory and complete associated paperwork
- Ability to clean equipment and facility approximately daily
- Ability to deliver product by car and then to door of customer
- Ability to deliver flyers and door hangers
