Job Summary
Delivery Expert responsible for safely operating delivery vehicle to transport orders to customers in Suffolk, delivering accurate orders on time, processing orders via computer systems, handling cash and card transactions, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, assisting with inventory/restocking, collaborating with team during peak periods, adhering to food safety standards and traffic laws, performing basic equipment maintenance, and supporting in-store tasks as needed. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record, 18+ years old, strong navigation skills, customer-service orientation, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours. Preferred high school diploma or equivalent and prior delivery or customer-service experience; strong communication and math skills for cash handling and order processing.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous experience in food delivery or customer service (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including order entry and GPS navigation
- Physical stamina to lift and carry deliveries up to 25 pounds
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
