Job Summary
Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area using your own insured vehicle; operate equipment, stock ingredients, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, and maintain cleanliness of equipment and facilities. Use navigational skills to locate addresses, read maps, and navigate varying terrains, including multi-story buildings, while delivering product. Exhibit basic math skills for handling money, and effective verbal and written communication to process orders with customers and co-workers. Training is provided on the job. Potential advancement paths exist from delivery driver to management and franchise ownership.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record
- Access to insured vehicle for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses
- Ability to operate all equipment
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Ability to make correct monetary change
- Ability to read and understand instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers
