Job Summary
Pick up and deliver HVAC equipment, parts, and materials to job sites, warehouses, and customer locations throughout Nassau County, Long Island, and surrounding areas. Load and unload materials safely while verifying orders against manifests and packing slips, then coordinate delivery schedules with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and field technicians. Complete daily vehicle inspections, obtain delivery confirmations, and maintain accurate electronic records using company-provided technology while following all DOT regulations and safety procedures. Start and end each workday from the Freeport, NY, location.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Ability to operate mobile technology for delivery documentation
- Authorized to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of delivery driving, logistics, warehouse, or transportation experience preferred
- Familiarity with Nassau County, Suffolk County, Long Island, and surrounding delivery routes is preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
