Job Summary
Load and arrange produce in the truck for delivery to 85 food access partners, then drive routes picking up and dropping off donated food according to schedule. Unload and weigh food upon return, conduct daily vehicle inspections and refrigeration checks, and enter data for all pick-ups and deliveries. Maintain truck cleanliness and function while fostering positive relationships with donors and recipients. Report maintenance needs, schedule changes, or unusual incidents to supervisors immediately.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical
- Must be able to drive a 14-20 foot box truck
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Must be able to comfortably bend, twist, and lift 40 pounds
- A current DOT Medical card is required
- ServeSafe Training and First Aid/CPR certification upon hire
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have an excellent driving record
- Must be at least twenty-one years of age
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical

Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of produce handling is preferred
- Understanding of inventory management and the principles of food safety a plus
