Job Summary
Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van while providing exceptional customer-first service and resolving customer service recovery situations involving returns and refunds. Achieve operational standards for the Online Shopping Department by operating the delivery vehicle safely and maintaining it to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness. Work with the online shopping team and customer service center to ensure smooth fulfillment from store to door. This role requires a valid Class 5 license, clean abstract, and ability to lift up to 40 pounds in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid, full class 5 provincial driver's license from BC
- Clean driver's abstract
- Current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain
- Experience in a customer service-related role
- Strong work ethic and 'let's get it done' attitude
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, pushing, and making deliveries in all weather conditions, both days and evenings
- Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones
