Job Summary
Load, secure, and transport automotive glass products on designated routes while ensuring accurate deliveries and safe handling of fragile materials. Operate company box trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks in compliance with traffic laws and safety protocols. Accurately pick, pack, and unload customer orders, maintaining delivery records and assisting with inventory checks as needed. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel. Maintain a professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service while lifting up to 75 pounds regularly. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required. Compensation is $20/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Medical DOT certification
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 75 pounds regularly
- Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to use warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Overtime and weekend shifts
- Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous delivery driving experience, preferably handling fragile materials
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loading, securing, and delivering products
- Basic computer skills for route navigation and delivery documentation
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
