Job Summary
Load, secure, and transport automotive glass products on designated routes while operating company box trucks in compliance with all traffic laws. Accurately pick, pack, and unload customer orders, assisting with deliveries to ensure items arrive undamaged. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for warehouse tasks, including inventory checks and material organization. Maintain accurate delivery records, conduct routine vehicle inspections, and follow strict safety protocols for handling fragile materials. Perform duties in various weather conditions with frequent standing and lifting up to 75 pounds. Monday through Friday, 4 am shift.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Medical DOT certification
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 75 pounds regularly
- Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to use warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Overtime and weekend shifts
- Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous delivery driving experience, preferably handling fragile materials
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loading, securing, and delivering products
- Basic computer skills for route navigation and delivery documentation
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Commitment to safety procedures and workplace regulations
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
