Job Summary
Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate duties include loading delivery trucks safely, coordinating with warehouse staff for proper loading, inspecting vehicles per DOT standards, communicating delivery dates/times to customers, driving to customer locations within ~150 miles of the Grand Rapids branch, unloading at customer sites, and adhering to safety regulations (DOT/FMCSA/OSHA). When not delivering, assist with warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, labeling, and operating a forklift; use RF scanner and computer systems to track status and location of products. Required qualifications include a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to obtain a medical card, 1–3 years of relevant experience, attention to detail, safety training, strong communication skills, physical ability to lift up to 325 lbs, and computer knowledge. Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with ability to obtain a medical card and acceptable driving record
- Basic product and warehouse/delivery knowledge normally acquired in one to three years of applicable experience
- Attention to detail
- Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Safety training on material handling and forklift driving
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull or move items weighing 70-325 lbs with or without mechanical assistance
- Prior computer knowledge, experience, and skills
