Job Summary
Physically load the company truck at the branch, verify truck condition and paperwork, then safely operate a vehicle to navigate assigned delivery routes. Confirm orders with customers, unload products, obtain signatures and payment, and make proper manifest notations for returns. Collect accounts receivable as necessary, pick up buyout purchase orders from vendors, and deliver parts back to the branch or customer. Work in a manner that prevents shortages and damage while complying with company policies and serving customers courteously. Requires at least one year of professional driving experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to lift 50 pounds. Schedule is Monday through Friday starting at 6:30 AM with 8–10 hour days.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of professional driving experience
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and physically load/unload truck with customer orders
- Excellent verbal, written, and auditory communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others
- Capacity to maintain composure and politeness under difficult circumstances
- Aptitude to be available and adjust working hours according to demands
- Must have DOT card or be willing to get one
