Job Summary
Deliver packages on time, safely drive and perform safety inspections on company vehicles, and work in all weather, lighting, and road conditions. Comply with local, state laws, road/driving regulations, and company policies while providing excellent customer service despite stressful events. Communicate effectively with the team using a smartphone device for GPS navigation, scanning packages, and administrative tasks like clocking in/out. Load, sort, and unload 150 or more packages, lifting items up to 50lbs and pushing packages weighing 50-70lbs on a hand truck. Work independently on various routes, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safe operation. Support the team through a 24/7 driver hotline and participate in rescue calls when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license
- Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle record
- Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
- Must successfully pass a 4-panel drug screening
- Must be able to work one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
