Job Summary
Drive parts to customers using the company vehicle and oversee the parts sales process from start to finish. Communicate with customers regarding parts status and set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up. Pull and fill orders from stock as needed, receive payment from retail customers, and obtain credit authorizations. Maintain a friendly and professional manner with both staff and customers while reading and interpreting parts catalogs, safety rules, and procedure manuals. Handle calculations for discounts, interest, and commissions. Requires a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record, high school diploma, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug test
- Valid driver's license
- Satisfactory driving record
