Job Summary
Transport products safely and deliver office supplies on your assigned route, loading your truck when volume requires. Organize and load product using manifests to ensure efficient delivery routes and schedules while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing pre-trip inspections. Act as a problem solver for customers by providing support, accepting returns, and making decisions regarding safety and interactions. Maintain a safe driving record, navigate various weather conditions, and utilize GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery devices. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, with flexibility for additional overtime hours based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid drivers' license with a driving record indicating a safe driving history acceptable to the company
- Eligibility to drive a commercial motor vehicle under applicable laws and regulations
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen (No THC) to the extent legally permissible
- 6-month DOT medical card specific to the role
- Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications)
- Ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs, push and pull items weighing up to 400lbs. with the assistance of hand carts/material handling equipment, and occasionally maneuver up to 130 lbs.
- Ability to wear safety composite shoes
- At least 21 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 1-year of truck driving experience (operating a 16ft or longer straight truck) or comparable driving experience
- High volume package delivery experience
