Job Summary
Delivery Driver on Staples Supply Chain team to transport and deliver office supplies on assigned route, with occasional loading of the truck. Maintain safety and quality by following safe work practices, using GPS and POD devices, organizing loads for efficient routes, and delivering customer service with a focus on safety and reliability. Role requires operating a 16ft+ straight truck, meeting DOT requirements, and lifting up to 70 lbs (with assistance), with overtime possible to meet business needs. Includes a strong emphasis on safety culture, vehicle inspections, and professional interaction with customers while representing the Staples brand on wheels.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license with a driving record acceptable to the company and at all times remain eligible to drive a commercial motor vehicle under applicable laws and regulations
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen (No THC) to the extent legally permissible
- Must obtain a 6-month DOT medical card specific to the role
- Basic English language skills (verbal and written)
