Job Summary
Delivery Driver for flatbed freight performing loading, securing, and transporting loads safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include inspecting the truck and securing gear (straps, chains, tarps), verifying load stability, driving to job sites or customer locations, communicating with dispatch, and assisting with unloading when needed. Demonstrates experience with load securement under adverse weather, planning efficient delivery routes, maintaining accurate delivery records, providing professional customer service, and complying with DOT/FMCSA safety requirements. Full-time role based in Grand Junction, CO, with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and independent on-road work.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and remain compliant with drug & alcohol regulations
- Must maintain a clean driving record that meets company and insurance requirements
- Must hold a valid driver’s license; CDL and/or Hazardous Materials Endorsement may be required depending on vehicle class and cargo
- Must have Minimum of 1 year driving experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and related duties
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Attention to safety and load securement procedures
