Job Summary
Deliver catering orders punctually while ensuring accuracy through pre-delivery order reviews and safe loading/unloading of equipment. Maintain and operate the company vehicle in a safe, clean, and efficient manner, performing routine inspections and reporting issues. Provide exceptional customer service during drops, addressing concerns and collecting feedback, paperwork, or payments. Resolve delivery-related issues such as incorrect orders or delays by working with the team. Represent SBR Events Group professionally as an ambassador while adhering to all traffic laws and safety procedures. This role requires a valid driver's license and food handlers certificate, with a high school diploma and 3-5 years of driving experience. Variable hours, evening, weekend, and holiday work are available. Compensation ranges from $18 to $22 based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 3-5 years of experience driving delivery vehicles or similar vehicles
- Proficiency in English
- Valid Driver's License
- Food Handlers Certificate
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work under general supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and frequently lift to 50 pounds
- Work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Operate a vehicle
