Job Summary
Operate a vehicle professionally and safely to complete assigned deliveries and pickups of merchandise. Pick up goods, deliver food orders to customers in a timely manner, and ensure orders match invoices. Assist in maintaining a neat workplace, stock shipping and receiving areas, and report overstock occurrences immediately. Fill delivery orders by obtaining required items, completing paperwork, and providing receipts. Answer telephone calls, take orders, and direct calls when necessary. Requires a valid driver's license, meeting insurance underwriting requirements, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Must meet insurance underwriting requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer skills
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
