Job Summary
Operate a vehicle safely and courteously to complete assigned deliveries and pickups of merchandise. Pick up goods, deliver food orders to customers in a timely manner, and ensure orders match invoices. Assist in maintaining a neat workplace, stock shipping and receiving areas, and lift and move items up to 40 pounds. Report overstock occurrences to management immediately, fill delivery orders with paperwork, and provide receipts. Answer telephone calls, take orders and messages, and direct calls as necessary. Requires a valid driver's license meeting insurance underwriting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Must meet insurance underwriting requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Basic computer skills
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
