Job Summary
Deliver brick to the job site and unload the brick where designated with the use of a Moffett (fork truck). The Moffett is carried on the back of the truck. Uses Tractor Trailer to move brick back and forth between Plants. Essential Functions & Qualifications: Must have and maintain current Class A CDL; operate moffett truck safely; operate powered industrial truck safely/Moffett; read and follow delivery directions per tickets; Afternoons; DOT physical; lift up to 50lbs; customer service; 5:45 AM start; Mon-Fri; Madison, NC; 4:00-6:00 PM finish.
Required Qualifications
- Must have and maintain current Class A Commercial Drivers License
- Must be able to operate moffett truck safely
- Must be able to operate a powered industrial truck safely/Moffett
- Must have good/clean safe driving record
- Must be able to read and follow delivery directions and instructions per delivery tickets
- Willingness to do a variety of duties when requested
- Must have good customer service skills
- Able to work in afternoons until work is complete
- Be able to pass D.O.T. physical requirements
- Be able to work in all weather conditions
- Able to lift up to 50lbs, put border mesh on brick & strap down brick loads per DOT regulation
- Work Schedule Monday - Friday
- 5:45 AM - Until finished (normally between 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM)
