Job Summary
Deliver parts, tools, and equipment to repair shops, dealerships, and body shops, ensuring accurate placement and invoice verification. Complete between 16 and 18 daily deliveries comprising at least four runs, while picking up and tagging dirty cores and returning all returns to the Warehouse Manager. Assist in warehouse picking and general work when not on route, and ensure communication devices remain active. Execute all transactions by obtaining signed paperwork or check approvals from the Leadman or back counter. Submit completed route sheets to the dispatcher and adhere to company driving guidelines. Lunch is automatically assessed unless approved by a manager.
Required Qualifications
- valid driver's license for the type of vehicle they operate
- keep the license with them at all times while operating the vehicle
- make between 16 and 18 deliveries and pickups per day
- at least four runs
- place parts where the customer wants them in the customer's facility
- check every order against the invoice for accuracy
- pick up dirty cores from customer facilities each time they make a delivery
- tag cores
- give all returns to the Warehouse Manager or designate
- have communication devices on and be able to be contacted
- ensure all pertinent paperwork, including invoice, credit card, etc are signed when transacting directly with the customer
- call the dealership and talk with the Leadman during day hours and back counter during off-hours to get approval of the check when receiving payment by check
