Job Summary
Pick up and drop off automotive parts while adhering to assigned routes, time schedules, and dispatcher directions. Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner, ensuring orders are properly fulfilled and charges are correct. Review orders before and after delivery to verify completeness and customer satisfaction, then accept payments, prepare reports including invoices, and reconcile all collected moneys. Perform daily maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle, assist with loading and unloading without interfering with customer operations, and promote workplace safety. Maintain a safe driving record, utilize navigation apps, and answer customer questions while professionally handling complaints.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid driver's license
- Must be able to meet company insurance requirements
- Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Must be 21 years old or over
- Ability to manage, track and account for money transactions
- Ability to reconcile customer credit and debt balances
- Ability to utilize a tablet and/or mobile device for navigation, route optimization, tracking, and customer interface/signature capture
- Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, with tact and diplomacy
- Ability to take and follow directions
- Ability to work well with others as part of a team
- Knowledge of transportation laws
- Safe driving record
- Ability to accept payments
- Ability to prepare reports including invoices, return forms, and reconcile debt and credit
- Ability to complete daily maintenance checks on company delivery vehicle
- Ability to assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles

- Ability to adhere to assigned routes and time schedules
