Job Summary
Safely operate, load, unload, and deliver freight using a small box truck or cargo van while adhering to assigned routes and time-sensitive schedules. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the vehicle as needed, and report issues through dispatch or managers. Clean, wash, and sanitize assigned vehicles. Navigate surrounding areas using GPS and scanning devices, climbing in and out of vehicles repeatedly. Work Monday through Saturday starting as early as 3:00 AM, with possible overnight hotel stays paid by the company. Maintain a strong commitment to safety while lifting up to 50 pounds and working in outdoor weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21+ years of Age
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years for insurance purposes)
- Background check required
- Ability to use smartphones
- Willingness to learn our company's workflow-related applications
- Experience driving cargo vans and box trucks
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling and squatting
- Extended periods of sitting
