Job Summary
Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van while providing exceptional customer-first service from the store to the door. Resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns and refunds by working with the online shopping team and customer service center. Achieve operational standards for the Online Shopping Department and operate the delivery vehicle safely, adhering to all rules of the road. Maintain the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness, performing physical duties including lifting up to 40 pounds. Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones, is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid, full class 5 provincial driver's license from BC
- Clean driver's abstract
- Current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain
- Experience in a customer service-related role
- Strong work ethic and 'let's get it done' attitude
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing
- Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions
- Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones
