Job Summary
Overnight, flatbed delivery driver responsible for loading, securing, and transporting freight to customers and job sites. Responsibilities include inspecting the truck and load, securing loads with straps/chains/tarps, performing pre-trip checks, driving in adverse weather and night conditions, communicating with dispatch, assisting with unloading, and ensuring on-time delivery. The role requires safe driving practices, load securement, familiarity with DOT/FMCSA requirements, fatigue management, customer service, route planning, and adherence to safety procedures in a warehouse/yard and on the road. The position is based in Salt Lake City, UT, full-time, with relocation not available, and offers pay in hourly ranges and benefits/bonus opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must maintain a clean driving record that meets company and insurance requirements
- Must hold a valid driver’s license; CDL and/or Hazardous Materials Endorsement may be required depending on vehicle class and cargo
- Must have Minimum of 1 year driving experience
