Job Summary
Delivery Driver - Non-CDL drives a box truck under 26,001 pounds on multiple routes with 10-20 deliveries per day. Responsibilities include completing and maintaining driver logs, making on-time deliveries in all weather, performing pre-trip/post-trip inspections, lifting 50 pounds regularly (up to 80 pounds with team lifts or mechanical equipment), assisting with loading/unloading and potentially operating forklifts/pallet jacks, and collecting payments from customers. Requires 21+ years, 1 year of professional driving experience, valid license and DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain, and passing pre-employment drug test. The role includes overtime, comprehensive benefits, and training; work schedule is Monday-Friday with variable start times between 6:00am-5:00pm, potential 8-12 hour days.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years or older
- 1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck or semi)
- valid driver’s license
- good driving record
- DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain
- pre-employment drug test
- ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and up to 80 pounds
- ability to exert a pushing force up to 40 pounds
- ability to operate powered industrial trucks if trained
- ability to communicate effectively
- OT availability
