Job Summary
Deliver products via a box truck under 26,001 pounds across routes, completing 10–20 deliveries per day. Maintain driver and fuel logs, perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and ensure on-time deliveries in all weather. Assist in loading/unloading, lift up to 80 pounds (team lifts or mechanical assist for tires), and operate equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks as needed. Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers, handle payments on delivery, and comply with safety and company policies. Schedule typically Monday–Friday 6:00am–3:00pm with possible overtime and rotating half-day Saturdays. Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- 1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck or semi)
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Satisfactory completion of company road test by qualified assessor
- Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts, as required
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
- DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines
