Job Summary
Delivery Driver role performing box-truck deliveries (under 26,001 lbs) with 10-20 deliveries per day; duties include pre-trip/post-trip inspections, safe on-time delivery in all weather, lifting 50-80 lbs (team lifts when tires or heavy loads), loading/unloading assistance, operating forklifts/pallet jacks as needed, using a handheld device to fulfill deliveries and collect payments, and maintaining logs. Requires 21+ years old, 1 year driving experience, valid license and DOT medical card, and ability to work overtime; strong customer service and safety compliance emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- 1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck or semi)
- Satisfactory completion of company road test by qualified assessor
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
- Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines
