Job Summary
Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds to make 10-20 daily deliveries to tire retailers and auto shops, completing pre- and post-trip inspections and maintaining accurate driver and fuel logs. Perform loading and unloading duties, lifting up to 50 pounds consistently and occasionally 80 pounds, while operating forklifts or pallet jacks as needed. Collect payments from customers, communicate effectively with teams, and operate a handheld device to track fulfillment. Work Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm or until routes are complete, with an expectation of 8-12 hours per day and overtime as business requires.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- 1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck or semi), and satisfactory completion of company road test by qualified assessor
- Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record in compliance with our driver policy
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds - working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
- Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require U.S. Venture's sponsorship to continue to work legally in the United States
