Job Summary
Deliver fresh food to wholesale retail partners and Smart Fridges using a company-owned refrigerated van, ensuring all shipments reach the correct address within the specified time window. Operate the Farmer's Fridge mobile app to log completed deliveries and communicate status updates. Safely maneuver city streets while maintaining a professional demeanor as the primary customer-facing point of contact. Perform minor mechanical repairs on vans or smart fridges as needed and lift loads up to 50 pounds. Work a 4am to 2pm shift Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in Indianapolis, IN.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to read and understand delivery instructions
- Functioning smart phone
- Ability to use technology: Gmail, Slack, iPads, cell phone apps
- Some knowledge of mechanics (minor repairs to vans or smart fridges)
- Professional driving particularly with food shipment using a refrigerated vehicle (Preferred)
