Job Summary
Delivery Driver role in Austin, TX focusing on timely, accurate deliveries of produce and specialty items. Responsibilities include following daily delivery routes, loading/unloading products from the warehouse into the vehicle, verifying inventory against manifests, scanning or recording delivery confirmations, collecting signatures and payments, and maintaining delivery paperwork. Requires a clean driving record, valid driver’s license, ability to pass a DOT physical, and the physical ability to lift 25 pounds. Experience with hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts is a plus; excellent time-management and customer-service skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record with no moving violations
- Must Pass a DOT physical
- Proficient at driving and parking large vehicles
- Physically able to lift 25 pounds
- Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus
- Ability to read maps or use GPS for routing
- Ability to deliver goods to specific locations and obtain signatures/payments as required
- Ability to maintain delivery paperwork and reports to supervisors
