Job Summary
Non-CDL Delivery Driver loads, secures, and delivers building materials to customer sites; operates vehicles weighing 10,001-26,000 lbs; uses DVIR/HOS hand-held devices; performs pre/post trip inspections; unloads and verifies orders; maintains logs; provides customer service and resolves issues; maintains vehicle cleanliness and safety; forklift or material-handling equipment may be used; must be 21+, have a valid license, pass MVR, obtain DOT medical card within 5 days; able to lift up to 100 lbs regularly (up to 200 lbs with assistance); English literacy required; work environment includes typical production/warehouse hazards.
Required Qualifications
- 21+ years old
- valid driver's license
- Pass MVR report
- DOT medical card within five days of request
- less than 5 moving violations in last 5 years
- Basic math & measurement skills
- Ability to read and speak the English language
- Experience with loading/unloading and material handling
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds frequently; up to 200 pounds with assistance
- Driving experience with building materials preferred
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and perform pre/post trip inspections
