Job Summary
Delivery Driver for NEFCO construction-supply operations. Local, non-CDL deliveries to commercial construction sites and home offices, typically Monday–Friday with a 5 am start and home every night. Responsibilities include performing pre-trip inspections, loading/unloading inventory, maintaining inventory accuracy, keeping a neat and safe workspace, ensuring manifests are complete and accurate, providing timely, courteous customer service, and communicating with the dispatcher and field team. Must have 2-5 years of experience driving 24’–26’ commercial vehicles (CDL preferred but not required), be at least 23 years old, pass a pre-employment drug screen, possess a current Medical Card, lift up to 75 pounds, and be able to operate in various climate conditions. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Must be 23 years of age or older
- Must have experience driving 24’ and 26’ Commercial vehicles
- 2-5 years driving experience driving commercial vehicles
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- Must possess a current, valid Medical Card
- Ability to lift to 75 pounds
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
- Excellent knowledge of the local delivery area
- Ability to sit in vehicle for long periods of time
- Must be able to work in various climate conditions
- CDL Preferred, but not required
