Job Summary
Deliver parts to customers while picking up inventory from vendors and maintaining accurate stock room levels. Ensure safety during all driving and delivery tasks, serve as a brand ambassador by building long-term relationships with clients, and maintain the delivery truck by adhering to safety checklists, keeping it clean, and performing basic maintenance like tire checks. Track all deliveries and pickups in a distribution log, handle cash transactions and returns, and inspect company assets including vehicles and merchandise. Work independently throughout the metropolitan area using maps, standing and lifting up to 60 lbs of merchandise as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Agility to bend to floor-level shelves and reach to upper shelves (eight feet) with use of stool or ladder when necessary
- Stamina to stand and walk for entire work shift
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs of merchandise
- Able to handle cash charge transactions correctly
- Able to handle core/part returns appropriately
- Ability to maintain a distribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups made
- Clear speaking skills
- Attentive listening skills
- Ability to drive throughout the metropolitan area using maps and directions
- Ability to be flexible with your schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Valid Driver's License
