Job Summary
Delivery Driver role responsible for ensuring orders are filled, staged, and ready for delivery, and maintaining HME/warehouse in a clean and organized state. Performs delivery, setup, and patient education for DME equipment and pharmaceuticals to home care customers within assigned geographic areas. Responsibilities include QA of orders, labeling and packaging for UPS deliveries, coordinating with Dispatch to determine best daily routes, providing customer orientation and instruction on proper equipment use, handling delivery and pickup paperwork promptly, and supporting warehouse activities. Requires high school diploma or GED, at least 21 with a clean driving record, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and passing the HPE test. On-site, full-time role with a sign-on bonus of $500; benefits include insurance, retirement plans, PTO, and other employee programs.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalent
- Experience with HME delivery is a plus
- Be at least 21 years of age with an excellent driving record
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills (a team player)
- Good physical condition with ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Must pass the HPE (Human Performance Evaluation) test
