Job Summary
Patient Service Technician and Local Medical Equipment Delivery Driver role delivering and setting up durable medical equipment and oxygen, educating patients/caregivers on safe use, maintaining equipment and company vehicle, and handling paperwork (invoices, work orders, logs) while complying with HIPAA and regulatory guidelines. Must be available for on-call assignments, communicate effectively, and work independently or with a team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction. Relevant knowledge includes Medicare/Medicaid regulations, FDA/DOT guidelines, and familiarity with DME/HME products; strong customer service and problem-solving skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years delivery experience
- Experience in healthcare, home health, or medical field
- Strong customer service background
- Valid driver’s license in state of residence with clean driving record
