Job Summary
Deliver materials, equipment, and supplies to construction sites, manufacturing locations, and other designated locations while operating company vehicles. Load, secure, transport, and unload bundles of pipe, sheet metal, ductwork, HVAC components, and other construction-related materials using safe material-handling practices. Follow all applicable DOT requirements, traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures. Perform required vehicle inspections, maintain assigned vehicles in a clean and safe condition, and communicate professionally with customers and construction personnel. Work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with willingness to work overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Valid DOT medical card
- Ability to successfully complete the required DOT physical and obtain medical certification
- Willingness and ability to work overtime, as needed
- Ability to safely navigate uneven surfaces and construction sites
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, load, and unload materials weighing up to 75 pounds
- Ability to perform required duties in varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions
- Ability to follow all applicable safety procedures
- Ability to wear required company-provided PPE
