Job Summary
The Delivery Driver is primarily responsible for delivering high-quality products such as beverages, pizza, pasta, and sandwiches to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner. Key responsibilities include driving a personal vehicle, following traffic safety laws, collecting payments, preparing delivery orders, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. Candidates need to exemplify problem-solving skills, basic arithmetic capabilities, and effective communication skills. A valid driver’s license, driving experience, and possibly food handling permits are required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state Driver’s License with 2 years of driving experience.
- Current motor vehicle insurance coverage on personal vehicle used for delivery.
- Possible requirement for a Food Handler’s permit and/or Foodservice Sanitation Certification.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is valued but not required.
- Ability to communicate appropriately to crew/management and convey a friendly demeanor.
